I did a cake for my friend's housewarming party last weekend. She wanted a fall theme so I decided to make her new house out of cake. It was fun because I got to use my new brick and siding molds. Her dog Bandit was also celebrating his 1st birthday so he got a spot on the driveway.
This was the last wine cake of the week. It was a 30th birthday cake and I wanted to do something kind of girly and sparkly. I made a little brooch from dragees and icing pearls to jazz up the bow.
This is the second of three wine cakes for this week. This is not a new concept, but I tried to make them unique and this was a birthday cake for a gentleman and I wanted to make it masculine.
This cake was designed by my friend Maya. She's about turn 7 and she has an awesome imagination. It's a pizza with her on it and a pig eating off the side.
We are Amy, Jeff and Little Kimchi, AKA The Atomic Cake Company. We created this blog because on the one hand, we adopted a baby from Korea and on the other, we make pretty much anything out of cake. Even a pot roast. If you're into that. We don't judge. Either way, we do our best to not kill you with boredom so come on in and sit a spell and we will mesmerize you with awesomeness. Probably not that part but we'll try not to suck.
